Dear Cordy,
Stephen and I wanted to write and thank you for the wonderful job you and your crew did on Alexandra and Tony's
wedding reception. From the earliest days of wedding planning, we felt comfortable knowing you had the food part of
it all taken care of.
We appreciated your helpfulness in meeting with the kids. Choosing a menu was fun, your suggestions were all
good, and your willingness to go with some our ideas set you apart from other caters. Everyone was impressed with
the quality of the produce! Did you see the pile of salads on our guest's plates? I could tell from just looking that the
green peppers and assorted veggies were crisp and cold. I could tell you had hand picked the tomatoes. They were
perfect. Also, thank you for making sure that the salad never had that wilted look. I don't know how you kept it so
chilled and refreshing while serving such a large crowd, but it was a fear of mine that the day would be hot and the food would limp and bedraggled. You surpassed our expectations!
While I'm at it, I wanted to tell you what we thought were some of the best succsses. We could have easily gone
through three times as many stuffed mushrooms. Who knew they'd be so popular? The wild Alaskan salmon was
marvelous. We probable could have ordered at least three more, and Alexandra was right about pre-slicing it before
serving it. People could take more if they wanted to, but I didn't notice much going to waste on anybody's plate. The
choice to serve salmon, chicken and beef seemed to be very successful, and the selections of fruits and vegatables
as well as crusty breads and cheeses seemed to cover most tastes.
I personally appreciated your offering help in contacting other vendors in related wedding needs. Your reference
to the stationary shop was particularly excellent!
As it turned out on the day, it was cool enough that people didn't really need to go outside to get a breath of fresh air. But we're glad we had you set up extra tents. With the lovelyflowers on the table outside, it gave people a view and
a place to go to for some private quiet time, a nice backdrop for photos, and a place for the little children to be a bit less
restrained and under folks 's feet. I also felt it personalized the hall and secluded us from public view just that little extra.
Considering the long day, the large number of people, the eating, the speeches, toasts, dancing, and everything going
on with the mormal activites, we think your crew did a marvelous job keeping everything attractive, neat and tidy, and
friendly! Well done, Cordy!
The entire event was so fun, and our plans beautifully realized thanks in great part to your hard work.
Thanks you from us all.
Sincerely
Stephen, Sarah and Christine Edmondson
